For three years the Sentinel has faithfully visited many homes, and done an immense public service through free distribution. Each week has added fresh interest, making its arrival more welcome, and its mission more clear. It comes sowing seeds of Truth, watering them likewise, and bringing its own sunshine of Love to quicken and renew their growth in the heart. A veritable Sentinel watching over its own work, and quick to catch harmonious tones struck in the general consciousness; creating ever the pure atmosphere, in which spiritual thoughts reveal their "eternal freshness and fairness," and may be cherished in human affections.
After three years, shall we not reasonably expect a bountiful harvest from this trusty messenger of Good? Thousands can bear testimony, even as I gladly do, to individual benefit from its visits. It has come as a gift and a responsibility to those who love Science. From the first it found a warm welcome. The wonder is now, how did we live without it?
