The (Scientifically) Correct Point of View
Jesus instructed mankind largely through parables, knowing that the human understanding could thus be more readily reached than by a more direct address. The story of the Prodigal Son has undoubtedly been repeated daily, both materially and spiritually, and so, all through the canonical writings, we find worldly events recorded and spiritually interpreted.
We are taught in Christian Science, as in the Bible, that we live, and move, and have our (true) Being in God, and that God is too pure to behold evil.
If we realize our one-ness with God and do all things from His standpoint, all evil seeming will disappear from our consciousness, and we shall behold all things in proper position, and see them in their true light.
