A Thank-Offering

Christian Science found me so full of self-righteousness, self-love, self-will, self-pity, and every other form of self, that it has taken many stripes to heal me of the ills resulting therefrom. But, thanks to the blessed Truth as revealed by our dear Mother and Leader, the loving patience of kind and faithful teachers, and the many helpful suggestions through the columns of the Journal and Sentinel, I can rejoice in many victories over self which has relieved me of innumerable ills, such as sick headaches, rheumatism, backache, and neuralgia. A sense of lack has been, in a measure, destroyed. Truly, "out of the abundace of the heart the mouth speaketh," but no words can express my gratitude for the peace and rest that have taken the place of dissatisfaction and unrest, and for the different view of life that has come to me through the glorious light of Christian Science.
