Editor Christian Index.
Dear Sir:—A recent article in your paper by Rev. Bruce Brown, of Denver, Col., makes certain statements in reference to Mrs. Eddy and Christian Scientists, which are so untrue in their nature as to require an explanation from the Christian Science standpoint.
The article objects to the position taken by Christian Scientists in reference to their non-taking of medicines, claiming that the Scientists are inconsistent in eating and drinking, while at the same time denying the power of medicine to cure bodily ills.
