Helped by the Journal

I wish to tell of a demonstration that was made by means of the help that seemed to come through reading the Journal. My husband had a congestive chill, after which he was very sick. He suffered greatly and we realized that we had no time to send for help, being twelve miles distant from any Scientist. After working for two hours, I thought to pick up the Journal and read a little. Opening to page 187 of the June Journal, I read the article, "The Simplicity that is in Christ." When near the close I came to these words: "Truth is omnipotent and omnipresent," and just then I knew the work was done. Relief came at once and before I finished reading the page, the sufferer was sleeping as sweetly as a babe, and all was still instead of groans of agony. Surely "in quietness and confidence shall be your strength."
