Christian Science in Childbirth

I had five children and suffered much under materia medica. The sixth under Christian Science treatment was a positively painless birth. The second day I was up and around the room. The third day while the family were at dinner. I felt so free and happy that I went down to the parlor and played on the piano, and have been down to my meals from the third floor ever since. The nurse left me on the fourth day, and I have taken entire care of the baby since that time. On the tenth day I went out to Wednesday evening meeting, and before two weeks were ended had been down town twice shopping, and I never felt so well and strong as I do now.

Words fail to express the gratitude I feel to our dear Mother for giving us this glorious Truth, and I thank God every day for sending it to me, as it is indeed an ever-present help in time of need.
