Eye on the world: The true parent
In “When families are divided by the US-Mexico border, deportation” The Christian Science Monitor reports that the US has deported a record number of people in recent years. For those who are being deported after years of living in the US, “beyond the legal issues, the realities of deportation leave many families in a difficult position.” However, when parents are deported and separated from their kids, organizations are stepping in to help care for the children and create continuity in parenting.
