In an article titled “France's ban on super-thin models: who will it really help?” The Christian Science Monitor writes of a plan that would make the use of “dangerously skinny” models illegal in France. However, the Monitor notes, “while it’s hard to knock its intent,” the plan probably won’t have “much of an impact on persistent notions of beauty that value thinness above all.”
