In “International Women's Day: Is the pace of progress slowing?” The Christian Science Monitor reports that “the world ha[d] much to celebrate ... on the 108th annual International Women’s Day” last week, citing a “wide range of feminist milestones achieved over the past year.” However, the Monitor notes that women around the world still face many challenges, with “progress toward gender equality [slowing] in many places.”
