Eye on the World: Christmas and New Year's
Note: The next “Eye on the World” will be posted on January 2nd.
People all over the world are looking forward to Christmas this year—a time to exchange gifts with friends, spend time visiting loved ones, volunteer in one’s community, and most important, to celebrate the coming of the Christ to humanity. Just a few days later, 2014 will be upon us, and many people will make New Year’s resolutions—promises to live fuller lives, perhaps with an emphasis on improving their careers or well-being, or on being more caring toward others.
In the Christmas spirit, we hope you’ll enjoy these recent articles from The Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, and Monitor that discuss different aspects of the season from a spiritual perspective.
