Innocent one

As many begin to emerge from a pandemic, we needn’t be burdened by past experiences. This poem shares the freedom we may find by loving others as ourself. 
I had experienced before that God’s ever-present grace is sufficient to help in all kinds of situations.
She was sure she didn’t want to take another vacation with her family. But as the time approached, this writer realized she was feeling conflicted about the whole thing. Could she really get an answer from God about something as “trivial” as this trip?

The accused

Rather than condemning others, we can trust them to God. This week’s poem illustrates the power of moving away from human judgment and silencing anger through the love of Christ. 

Jesus’s ability to heal was independent of matter.

Wherever we go, we can be guided by divine direction. This week’s poem speaks of finding our forever home.

Life­—a continuous cycle of good

No matter what our current circumstances are, or what predictions are made about our lives, we all have the God-given ability to know that we live in the uninterrupted cycle of infinite good, now and forever.

No matter how difficult the circumstances, God’s perfect love takes away fear.
She couldn’t have been working harder on her giant final paper, but that was just the problem. The harder she worked, the more she struggled. Fortunately, she was about to discover a different approach, based on Jesus’ example, that turned the whole project around.
After recent mass shootings in Atlanta, Georgia, and Boulder, Colorado, I wanted to pray more effectively about gun violence.
