Not beleaguered but blessed
We get a full dose every day
of political enragement
of a constant barrage about aging and its effects
of intolerance for others
of warfare over territory
of ascendancy to the
throne of matter atop a mountain of threats
of inflamed thought.
Acknowledge the Christ.
Realize once and for all
that the scientific, divine nature is all there really is,
for God is
in control,
in place, here and now.
The blessing?
Your birthright as a child of God is intact.
No amount of insistent disturbance
can change God’s all-encompassing, all-powerful presence;
all is calmed by divine Love.
Jesus proved it.
He was not impressed, no matter the threat—
always one with the Father,
whose kingdom of heaven remains untouched:
a mighty fortress of thought,
correcting the false with the true.
And this heals.
