The view that matters
What if the world’s view of you as a physical, material human isn’t the only way to see yourself? What if there is also God’s view of you? And what if that is the only view that matters—the only one that is accurate?
We are each the creation of God, Spirit. We actually exist as evidence of God’s love, perfection, and goodness. And nothing evil or unloving resides in Spirit, so God cannot, and does not, infuse any such thing into that which He creates. Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by the Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, explains, “Man as the offspring of God, as the idea of Spirit, is the immortal evidence that Spirit is harmonious and man eternal” (p. 29).
God holds a completely clear and accurate conception of us as His perfect, spiritual image.
