What’s it all about anyway?

Christian Science is not about the words or symbols . . .
it’s about the action—
the healing demonstration.
Think of it as a science:
Math is taught in a book,
learned by solving problems in a workbook,
but it’s useless if it’s just kept in a book.
We have to go out and use it . . .
in the grocery store, to figure out the 10 percent discount;
it’s used all day in infinite ways.
So is Christian Science.
It’s not about visiting a church spasmodically;
it’s about confronting every lie
—every belief of material existence—
with the Christ, Truth;
it’s about being alert . . . and practicing.
Now there’s the key.
