All needs are met

Our needs are not left
—like cobwebs
in some forgotten corner—
unmet by God, infinite good.

Could we think of Love divine
—whose gentle presence
guides our every step—
as a sloppy housekeeper,
leaving us
with even one little spider’s nest of
mortal beliefs
that frighten us
and make us feel
hopeless and unhealed?

No!

Love sweeps away
all fears
with the broom
of Truth
—be they active spiders
or leftover cobwebs.
This truth, that in
Love’s house
all is harmonious,
good and peaceful
—perfect—
is known by a humble heart.

No needs are unmet
in Love’s house—
the kingdom of heaven,
our forever home.
There we see our
perfect selves.
All needs met!
