The Christmas message

Originally published in French

When the Virgin-mother gave birth to her firstborn son,
Heavenly heralds announced the coming of the newborn child,
Swaddled and laid in a manger.
A refuge where, guided by Love,
Mary and Joseph found a haven of peace.
Christmas—the welcome of baby Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
Christmas—the coming of the Savior, the Christ.

Today, the angel still says to the world, “A Savior is given unto you.”
And, the heavenly star, which only the spiritual senses can discern,
Leads to Christ hearts that are ready to receive the blessing.
More than gold, frankincense, and myrrh on a golden altar,
We offer our hearts to God, divine Love, and sing with glory, filled with happiness.
Christmas—it honors the Christ forever.

Staying close to us, wiping away all our tears,
The one infinite, eternal divine presence of Soul
Pours into our hearts, in overflowing streams, the treasures of heaven.
Christ—the divine nature that exists on earth as in heaven.
Christmas—the dawning of God’s divine manifestation—
Says, “Man is the blessed child, forever at one with his God.”
