Poem

Called forth
Gail J. Miller
Originally appeared on spirituality.com
What we are unfolds as a flower,
petal by petal,
called forth by the Spirit,
warm beams drawing forth
hidden color—
tenderly, unstoppably,
moment by moment.
Steeled bud yields
to Love’s kindling
of courage
to release clutched talents,
to offer them open-faced—
pure tones of rose
and dawn
and sheer joy
spilling out! —
spreading in concentric beauty
with sweet aroma of Love’s blessing,
in this eternal
springtime of our Life.
