Back to work without anxiety

I was on my way to a new office to start a new job.

With keys in hand, I began looking for my office space. As I explored the building, negative thoughts began to flood in. Thoughts like, “What do you think you’re doing. You don’t know enough to do this job. You’re too old and you’ve been away from office work too long!”

As I listened to these thoughts repeat themselves, I couldn’t help but be filled with fear. In fact, I actually stopped and stood there, almost paralyzed with anxiety. I knew, however, I couldn’t stay in that mental place and expect to get anywhere.
