Spirit's kind

How carefully the world conceals
the holiness that Truth reveals
in every heart by Love defined,
in every one of Spirit's kind.

Beguiled, the poor sequestered heart
will hide itself in fear apart
from other hearts and other minds
believing they are earthen kinds.

It's only when the Second Birth
unites all hearts and minds on earth
in heaven's rarer atmosphere
that earthen kinds cease to appear.

Then earth and heaven both reveal
the holiness they can't conceal
from any heart or any mind
for everyone is Spirit's kind.
