Post-tsunami prayers
Pam Chance
Originally appeared on spirituality.com
We fly over
empty landscapes
of destruction
and sail close
to catastrophic
scars of change.
We ache with you,
tsunami survivors,
and want
to turn back
time and tide to make it all
as it was before.
And our thoughts
are never far
from you
who must
endure what
seems unendurable!
