Defending the rights of women

Live audio chat with Lindsey Taylor, CS

Throughout this chat Lindsey declares that understanding the spiritual nature of both manhood and womanhood will bring healing when it comes to gaining women's rights. She said, “Identifying yourself as the child of God opens the floodgates of heaven.” She makes it clear that men need not be victims of a human sense of maleness. And women need not be victims of a human sense of femaleness. Instead both are given dominion over material concepts of manhood and womanhood by God. The first chapter of Genesis shows that both are made in God's image and likeness and reflect only the goodness, purity, and love of God.

Lindsey answers questions like: Can you speak to the sexualization of women in society - media, advertising, pornography - and how can we change that? What would you say to a woman who has been abused by her husband? What do you think Mary Baker Eddy would say about the progress of women's rights in contemporary American society? And how can we pray more effectively to help victims of sex trafficking? She answers these questions and others by showing how living the Golden Rule will restore men and women to their native spiritual identity and bring healing to situations of injustice.
