A spiritual defense against bullying

Lois Carlson, C.S.B.

In her answers to questions–some about children who are bullied and also from adults in work situations and at home–Lois brings out the love of God for each of us as His children. She says, "Bullying is not natural to anyone." Then she goes on to explain that right in the midst of a bullying experience, we can trust that God is there, telling us that we are loved and worth being known as children of God. Nothing can change our spiritual nature as the child of God, no matter what others may say.

She responds to parents and grandparents seeking help for a bullied child, to a child who is being called abusive names that humiliate her, to those who believe bullies may feel justified in their actions. And Lois also answers questions from people who feel they are being bullied at work or in their families.
