Testimonies of Healing

The healings we publish are verified by people who can vouch for the testifier or who know of the healing. Examples of Christian healing from individuals and families around the world have been published in the Christian Science periodicals for well over a century.

The most recently-published testimonies are at the top.

I can never say how grateful I am for all the love that is manifested through Christian Science and for the healing power of divine Love.
Over twenty years ago, at the request of my husband, who had been healed of hay fever, I attended lectures on Christian Science and learned that I had no God of health and comfort in my accepted creed.

Gratitude for the blessings which have come through the study of Christian Science must find its expression in testimony as well as in daily improving conditions, and so I would give my thanks through our periodicals for all that is constantly coming to me as a result of the earnest study of our Leader's writings together with the Bible.
In humble obedience I wish to testify to the healing, protecting, uplifting power of Love which, as a student of Christian Science, I have found and proved through the study of the Bible and our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

The demand for church

I like to think of each church that grows up in a community as that community's answered prayer for the presence of the saving Christ—the message of God's love for humanity.

In the autumn of 1927 Christian Science was first presented to me by a friend, and very soon afterwards I procured the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began to study it.
My first attitude toward Christian Scientists was that of pity, for I had been reared in a home which was proud of the long line of orthodox ministers in the family, and I considered any digression from the teachings of our church as a going out after "strange gods.
It is my desire to use the channel provided by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, through the periodicals to testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
Since I began to rely solely on the true God, whom I found through the study of Christian Science, I have been healed of toothache, influenza, poverty, the drink and smoking habits, a very bad temper, and many business troubles.
How often we accept our daily blessings as a matter of course; yet we read in the Scriptures that "every good gift and every perfect gift" is from God, so that even the smallest manifestation of good is worthy of gratitude and praise.
When about twenty years of age, I served for a time as the superintendent of a Sunday school of the Protestant Episcopal church, of which I was a member.
