On the King's Highway

We will walk with joy on the King's highway,Where the light is shining clear;Where the winds of God blow fresh and free,And we feel His presence near.

The Vision Infinite

When Truth has swept away the cloudy veilWhich seems to shut God's universe from view,That peace and joy may rest on vale and hill,And loveliness in all the world be new; When Love's clear light has marked the open way,That faith may rise on strong and steadfast wingInto the dawning of that perfect dayWhen heaven lies revealed to hearts that sing; And when the Life that ever lives, and knowsThe glorious fruitage of eternal years,Has pulsed in every heart to cleanse and proveThe fruitlessness of mortal joys and fears,Thus shall the glory of the Lord of hostsShine forth, and all His universe unfoldIn love and beauty to our wond'ring eyes—The vision infinite shall men behold.

Direction

If I would hear that Word behind me say,"This is the way,"Would know each turn at left hand and at right,And feel the confidence of paths made straightFor me,Straight and lighted with the lightOf Mind, of Love and purity,Then I must wait,Stand quiet.

Your God Is There

Your God is there, where dangers seem encircling; They are but dust of dreams that have no placeIn Mind's infinitude and Love's protection,Wherein you dwell in safety, beauty, grace.

Law

If ever Christly word hath stilled dissension,Hath healed the sick, hath made the dead arise,Law was at work; no random interventionDisturbs the creator's ordered enterprise.

Thanksgiving

Let me not miss one thought of love from Thee,To scatter to my brethren far and wide.

From Conquering hate, enthroning peace

Love's triumph over hate

How can we love when others hate? Prayerful turning to God, divine Love, with the earnest desire to express His qualities under all circumstances will give us strength and ability to do right.

"Be still"

"Be still, and know that I am God,"Oh, restless heart, be still, be still! The peace of God doth thee enfold,And guard from ill.

Sons of God

Unfailing good,To whom in constant prayerDesires turn,May the firm faithThat we have cherished, burnWith brighter glow,And resurrect our hope,Until we knowThe joy and libertyOf life in Thee,Our All-in-all.

Peace

Peace is the rest that comes when consciousnessBids all the clamorous senses to be still; It is the calmness nurtured in the soilOf proved obedience and conquered will.

The Firmament

The firmament, o'erspreading all,Displays Thy handiwork, O God;It is the firmament of Mind,Where all may understanding find—Thy firmament, O God.

Standing in the Wind

Far up the mountainside there stands a tree,Sturdy and gnarled, and marking timber line.

Consecration

We read of Samuel that the Lord was with him,Nor let the words he spake fall to the ground.
