The Voice of God

The voice of God is heard by him who waitsWith understanding heart and eager ear;It comes in tender sweetness through the gloomOf human mind, and baseless mortal fear;It finds its way to dark sequestered cellAnd fills it with the gladsome song of Love,Or comes to him who walks in market place,And sounds in lowly depths or heights above.

After Asking

Dear Father, I will ask no more.

Identity

Who turns away from God and seeks to findHis life elsewhere than in eternal MindWill travel far, yet never reach the goalUntil he follows in the light of Soul.
