"So shall my word be"

Far in the whispering woodland deeply laidAfter the winter bleakness melts in springAnd bitter nights surrender to the day—Faint on the south wind now I hear a noteOf tiny waterfall, born of the snowThat winter heaped within the glen; and now,Released from binding travail by the sun,Leaps down the rocks in shining crystal spray; To eye, a rivulet so frail that rootOr rock might turn it from its certain way;Yet, gathering breadth of grace and depth of might,Resistless, gladsome, singing, it glides on.

Precept

Seek first God's kingdom: fill your thoughtWith all the good that Love has wrought,And He from out His spiritual storeWill on your head a blessing pour.

The Story of Promise

My Heritage

I have finished with the world.

Gratitude

With gratitude,You light the wayFrom sorrow's gloomTo Truth's clear day.

Speak to Me, Lord

Speak to me, Lord! Thy still small voiceWill sweeten the moil of the day;Elijah heard it and so may I,And so may I obey.

One of Them

They said that he was one of them—One who had heard the Master's callAnd followed close, until the WordColored his speech and life and all.

Opportunity

Life is so full of opportunity,So rich in time and place to bless another,That none may say, "I have nothing to giveTo him who sits beside the way—my brother.

"He made the stars also"

When darkened thought the glory cannot feelOf that great light God made to rule the day,Though clouds the lesser orb of night conceal,Take heart—He also made the stars! Some rayOf truth, some stars of hope and faith are nighTo lift the thought to clearer atmosphere; And as they radiate they multiply,Until the greater lights again appear.
