In well-wrought mask and wrapped in gay disguise,A fugitive from yesterday's dark cares.

Security

Rock, rescue, refuge! What though kingdoms fall and man's high destinyBe mocked of men—The rock of my salvation is the Lord,And age-abiding is His holy Word.

Remember

Remember, in the blare of all earth's war and strife,God never reads the fiction of this mortal life.

"Fear none of these things"

Through these confused,Troubled timesA light appears,A gentle piercing light.

Peace

Earth's tumult and its storms recede,And in their place are heardThe accents of the "still small voice"—The omnipresent Word.

Freedom

John and Peter in the prison pent,And Paul with sting of viper, knewThere was for them no real imprisonment,No power apart from God.

Perfect Being

God, the Principle of being,Mind, the all-inclusive All,Has no consciousness of evil,Is not fettered by its thrall.

Son of God

He is not yours—that boy you callYour son;His only parent—God.
