He turns to Mind throughout the day,Not once nor twice but every hour,To guide him in the narrow way,As God-endued to speak with powerThe Word of Truth and Love, to healOr raise from sin the living dead,While in humility to kneelBefore the word, "Take up thy bed.

RAINDROPS OF DIVINITY

The gracious rain falls on the famished fields:The tranquil, waiting earth drinks thirstily,And empty stream beds parched and gray with dustBear laughing, singing waters to the sea.
