UNFOLDMENT

However small or great the taskWe may be called upon to do,God gives us, when we humbly ask,Intelligence to see it through.

THE MORNING WATCH

The midnight hour is past;We see the gentle dawn appear,We claim our victory—we hold it fast—For Love has banished pain and fear.

PROOFS OF LOVE

May Love forgive our faltering demonstrations,Our fearful stand in Truth's hard testing hour.

THE NEED TO LOVE

One need we have, one overwhelming need,The need to love:Not as one bending down, benevolent,Bestowing gifts upon the hungry poor:Nor looking up, with personal attachment,Giving devotion due to God alone:But showing forth our Father's love, embracingIn radiant reflection all mankind.

CREATION

What Love has blessed cannot be cursedBy mortal circumstance; What Life creates is not reversedBy birth or death or chance.

HE CARES

It was only a broken feathered thing,The frail bird under the tree—But the Word was spokenAnd wings took flight,Soaring upward, strong and free.
