Who , more than Paul, had reason to regretPast errors and the havoc zeal had wrought?

JOY IS WITHIN

Joy comes not from earthly taleOf day's unfolded story,But from the inner chords of graceThat wake with heaven's glory.

UNFOLDMENT

Just as a bud within itselfEnfolds its fragrance, form, and hueAnd waits but on the warmth of sunTo bring its fullness into view,So shall we find in right idea,That comes to us from Mind divine,Inherent all the needed powerTo bring to bloom the full design.

MORNING PRAYER

O Father Mind, help me to seeThat all true wisdom is of Thee,

"EXCEPT I SHALL SEE"

The glory of the resurrection mornWas lost to Thomas, who would not believeUntil the Master stood before him thereAmong the few assembled in his name.

The voice of Truth sings through the harp of Mind.

UP—INTO FLOWER

CONSIDER, then, consider.

HIS BLESSINGS

LOVELIER than summer's rosesOr song of the soaring lark,Certain as dawning of the day,God's blessings light the dark.

DISCOVERY

I thought I had a heavy cross     to carry up a hill, and counted it as worse than loss,     lamenting much, untilthe upward path brought gladness springing—and now I go my way with singing.
