A prayer for one far-off

This is not releasing, flinging out,a human thought, a message of my love, whirling over the earth's curve,or through its crust and magma, nor launching out a wishto the vagaries of wind, fragilities of hope, gestures of human ritual.

What is?

What is unchanging?

As close as thought

Heaven is well within our reach—not a far-off, halcyon beachbut a shoreless now/here place,including us in God's embraceof Spirit's idea-world.

"Choose ye"

Three young men,Eyes and heartsFixed on the One,Refused to bend,To follow the liturgical worshipOf the king's idol—So set, so tall,So gargantuan in its glisterings.

You?

Nothing can ever stopyou being you.
Hallelujah—I'm intact! No otherwise, no pseudo actof mortal man, can separatemy only self from my estateas child of God, as one in All.

God is real

The silent stars in boundless space,The wonder of a baby's face; The changing seasons, one by one,The wind, the rain, the shining sun;A blooming flower, a flying bird,A friendly smile, a kindly word—The things we touch and see and feelAll go to prove that God is real! And being real, He's present, too,And always watching over you!

Being home

I am home now,not just on my wayor toward, not always trying to bore a hole in heaven.
