Recompense
O aching heart, from self now turn.
Reach out, reach out! No longer yearn
for others to supply your need
but live God's love yourself—be freed.
Pour forth your love—not love confined
but love impartial, generous, kind,
including all in your embrace,
reflecting Mind's unmeasured grace.
So doing, lose that wounded sense
and find in loving, recompense.
VIRGINIA L. SCOTT
