Prayer is a deep realization and acceptance of God’s love holding each one of us and all creation in His eternal care—before, during, and after the resolution of a situation.
During this trying time, I mentally got down on my knees in prayer and affirmed that God’s children are inseparable from Him and reflect the divine qualities of honesty and integrity.
Each one of us is tenderly governed by spiritual law. Under this law, there is no evil source or influence—nothing that can wrongly divert any individual’s real purpose to bless.
Though yielding to God ultimately opens the way for healing, the even more gratifying reward is the inner security and joy we are sure to feel from gaining clearer insights into our true, spiritual identity as Love’s cherished expression.
People in Ethiopia, where I am living, are being internally displaced because of an escalating civil war, and some are fleeing to neighboring countries. I have been praying because I have been deeply distressed by the magnitude of this problem and what I have been hearing in the news and in the community around me.
