How I Found Christian Science

In 2014, on our family’s first Sunday after moving to the United States from China, we saw a building with a sign that said First Church of Christ, Scientist, so we stepped in.
Ever since I was a small child, I loved Jesus.

Before I began learning about Christian Science, I was sick often and went to a doctor or an acupuncturist almost weekly.
One summer day during my childhood on our family farm in southern Italy, I came down with an eye infection.

I was a seeker for Truth

When I first learned of Christian Science, I was searching for healing, as I had been ill for 14 years with a physical condition that the doctors could not diagnose or cure.
Midway through college, I found myself in an especially rough place.

‘Her words were like a balm to me’

One day many years ago, I was sitting in the waiting room of a clinic when a very dear friend approached me and warmly greeted me.
Years ago, I cleaned out my aunt’s apartment in Chicago after she moved to a nursing home.
