The
dire need of humanity for permanent peace, health, and subsistence can be met only through the metaphysical, or spiritual, Science which Christ Jesus taught and demonstrated and which today is revealed in its completeness of statement in Christian Science.
Especially
at this time of the year, one is reminded of a statement from Lincoln's Gettysburg Address: "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
In
writing these words, "Wait, I say, on the Lord," the Psalmist must have had the true sense of waiting in mind, for the sentiment closes a most illuminating psalm, the twenty-seventh, which begins, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
Lovers
of nature everywhere are known to relish and enjoy all that the phrase "clear skies" implies: sunny days, starlit nights, placid waters, agreeable climate, wholesome atmosphere.
