In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

Signs of the Times

Hon.

"Perfect God and perfect man"

Every morning before James goes to school, he sits down with his mother to read part of the Lesson-Sermon, outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly.

Divinely Inspired Lecture Preparation

A sacred event of long ago, related in the second chapter of Acts, lends inspiration and encouragement today to a church preparing to give a Christian Science lecture.

Our Responsibility

For over nineteen hundred years the Christian churches have taught the omnipotence and omnipresence of God, but they have then tried to reconcile this teaching with a doctrine that includes belief in the reality of evil, or a personal devil, that is, in a power opposed to God.
One of the precious experiences in the life of many Christian Scientists is the influx of inspiration that comes when they turn to Christian Science for the healing of the hurts and disappointments of material existence.

"The entireness of God, good"

The allness of God is a present, joyous fact.

"Immortal memory"

Christian Science reveals that memory, in its spiritual sense, is a faculty of Mind and that Mind is God, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient, the source of all true knowledge.
Mankind needs to be healed of belief in death.

Readiness to Receive

One sometimes thinks that with God's help one can alter circumstances or change personalities to one's advantage.
In the Bible are to be found many admonitions to praise God and to glorify His name.

Nothing Is "Impossible"

Jill has used her understanding of Christian Science many times to prove that all good is possible for those who turn to God for help.
