Loving the challenge

When we feel we are battling our way through each day, we may think that our best hope is just to survive. But even a glimpse of God's government can show the way to face challenges with rejoicing.

Under the shadow of the Almighty

Are there times when God doesn't help us?
The last words of Christ Jesus in the Gospel of Mark are "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
When reports of calamity in our world or in our own town flood in daily, it may seem naive to say that we can be free from fear. Yet the Bible tells us, "Perfect love casteth out fear."
