In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

"Heal the sick..."

This writer found that the joy of spiritual healing opened her life to new possibilities and to a deeper love for God as the Father-Mother of us all.
The Communion service was simple and unadorned. But the demand for humility was no less urgent for its simplicity.

What do you mean, progress?

Real advances—in individual lives and in communities—are rooted in Spirit, in the actual source of all life and renewal.

The glue that makes us stick

"Moving on" has almost become a contemporary motto. When things get rough, instead of trying to get going, maybe we need to get closer to God, who is unchanging Love.

A reason for morality

As we press toward the next century, more and more of the challenges humanity faces demand a deeper commitment to ethics and to spirituality. How do we find the strength to stand by such commitments?

Knowing what to believe

Information overload seems to be one of the givens of contemporary life. But more than anything else our well-being depends on what we learn of God's government and of His control over all.

Have you been disillusioned?

Hard-shelled "realism" is a pretty weak defense against disappointment. What we need is the light that Christ, Truth, sheds on us and others.
Even though we may feel love is a word that is overused and misused, we can still get beyond the stereotypes and feel and express the power of divine Love.

On giving testimonies

When you are healed by God, the normal, expectable response is gratitude and rejoicing.

"The secret place"

The Bible urges us to have that Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus." A military man finds there is safety and strength in this divine intelligence, in God.

Please identify yourself

Politicians aren't the only ones encouraged to project "the right image." If we feel we have an "image problem," maybe we need to learn more of our nature as God's image and likeness.
What if you are asked to pray for someone? What is the power that will actually heal?
