Being a good Samaritan

In many ways, Jesus was using the Samaritan to teach about the Christ, the healing and saving power of God that is ever acting on our behalf.
When a game against her soccer team’s biggest rivals went south, this athlete recognized that thinking negatively about the other players was affecting her team’s ability to play their best. One of Jesus’ parables helped her shift her perspective—and changed the dynamic on the field.
Rather than feeling that I needed to try to fix the situation, I began to feel assured that we are always safe and guided by God.

No matter what situation we may find ourselves in, God’s help is always at hand.
The divine law of abundant supply is universally available to be discerned and applied, and is operating for us all.
