In the Christian Science Bible Lesson

No one is ever on the outside of Church—of the healing, comforting presence of God.

A spiritual response to political division and upheaval

It becomes clearer and clearer by the day that there is no mortal solution to division. But that also means the solution is in each of us as children of God.
Even when disagreement turns hostile, God has given us the courage to stand up for our inherent unity as brothers and sisters in God – which paves the way for resolution and healing.
You probably know the feeling. You get your day started with prayer, but then it seems like the inspiration fades the moment “real life” begins. Is there any way to feel that prayerful “oomph” all day long?
As we reject a path of reaction and emotion and accept our likeness to pure Love, we find our lives and relationships proportionately transformed.

How do I know God loves me?

When we see good things happening; feel a deep sense of peace, inspiration, or healing; or recognize beauty in a moment of nature, it’s all evidence of God loving us.
Taking moments to really feel God’s presence each morning, and sometimes at other difficult times during the day, became a lifeline.
When an expensive item was damaged at the warehouse where this teen worked, her boss asked her to cover for him by writing a dishonest email. What was she supposed to do? Turning to prayer led her to an unexpected solution.
We can let peace begin with each of us, right where we are.
By springtime, peace, harmony, and support had not only returned to our neighborhood but felt even stronger than before.
In prayer, I addressed the competitive feelings that had felt like a wedge between us.

Be a good porter!

Being a porter means letting in only thoughts that are good and true—thoughts that come from God, because God is good.
