I aspire to prove that a spiritual, prayer-based effort offers the surest protection because it addresses the essential problem: the belief that matter and material laws rule our lives. Each proof that life is governed by Spirit, not human beliefs about contagion, is a step toward finding the way out of the limits and destructive nature of the belief of life in matter.

Sleeping well

Prayer has led me to not be preoccupied with screens or email when I go to bed but to cherish that time as quiet time with God, a time for listening for thoughts from God.
She should have been looking forward to the state soccer tournament, but instead this high school senior felt disappointed: She’d hurt her ankle, and her coach had given his own daughter a coveted spot on the roster. What propelled her forward in spite of these setbacks? Read on to find out.

She wanted her life to feel interesting and satisfying, but so far, it just hadn’t. But looking at her life from a more spiritual basis started this author on an adventure to discover more about what her life could—and actually did—look like.

Use your “superpower”

Roland had learned that his greatest superpower was prayer.
Turning to this perfect Mind to know how to think and act, pausing to listen to wisdom in place of the impulses of a false sense of self, we steer clear of the minefield of reactionary, negative behavior and learn and live more of the divine nature.

Staying on God’s path

If it sometimes seems as though we’re not following or can’t find the right path in business, a relationship, or a desired healing, we can pause, turn to God, and let Him show us His way.
I found that in seeing myself as the expression of God, divine Love, I was giving others the opportunity to see me that way, too. And I found that I was able to see and honor each individual’s unique identity while recognizing, above all, our brotherhood and sisterhood as children of God.
Isn’t this truly what Christmas and New Year’s—and in fact, every day—are all about? We are breaking the grip of fascination with the finite, mortal story of ourselves as having a beginning, middle, and end, and singing the new song of divine Science.
