One February night a violent storm rocked the seaside community where I was living.

Somebody asked me that question during a friendly after dinner conversation.
After having been warned that the undertow at a beautiful beach was the most dangerous in the world, I was shocked at how strong the temptation was to discard intelligent restraint and plunge into the water—warning or no warning! An adulterous relationship can be as alluring to one as that surf was to me.
For years I suffered from migraine headaches.
