"At last! I'm free!"

To be sure, there are things worth hanging on to—the memory of an exquisite sunset, a record of the funny things your children said when they were young, a side-splitting joke. But just as certainly, there are things that don't warrant even grabbing hold of, much less clinging to. Things like bad memories, pain, and grief. Letting go of such things is solid gain, and doable.

Real Christianity has never been a religion of just contemplation.

God gives all of us—kids and adults—all the love and intelligence we need.
