Needed: more stillness

Whether you spend the day dashing from one activity to the next or sitting quietly by a window reading, take time to be still. It's refreshing.
These are not the best of times for the media.
If you associate the word media with the sensational rather than the substantial, with that which degrades rather than uplifts, you've got your work cut out for you. Yes, you have a major part to play in helping the media reach its potential to be a blessing to humanity.
During an interfaith seminar on "Nurturing Spirituality in Children" presented by The Boston Parent's Paper in the Sunday School of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in April, there was lively discussion on the role of the media.

Children and today's media

"With all the other pressures and responsibilities of parenting, how can parents help their children find the right balance in their media use?"

Are we there yet?

We can expect safe, harmonious travel with God at the helm.
