Bleeding stopped and wound quickly healed

A few months ago, I was preparing breakfast and needed to open a package, but instead of using scissors I quickly grabbed a knife. I forcefully pushed the knife into the package, but it inadvertently also went into my finger, causing a rather deep cut. It hurt a lot, but I wondered if maybe that was just an initial shock.
Immediately I went to my room to pray. I didn’t stop to bandage my finger, but held the wound tightly because of the bleeding. I wanted to pray first and not entertain any opinions about what had happened. I denied any accident being possible in God’s universe—since accidents must be unknown to God, as we read in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy (see p. 424).
My husband finished making the breakfast and then left with our daughter. A little later he called me to ask how I was doing. He knows that I rely on God for everything, and he respects that because he has seen the good results.
