It is difficult to express the immense gratitude I have for Christian Science. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer of Christian Science, explains in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: “God had been graciously preparing me during many years for the reception of this final revelation of the absolute divine Principle of scientific mental healing. 

“This apodictical Principle points to the revelation of Immanuel, ‘God with us,’—the sovereign ever-presence, delivering the children of men from every ill ‘that flesh is heir to’ ” (p. 107). 

I would like to share what I am understanding and proving of this divine Principle. One night I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I prayed persistently, denying it any power. I see such suggestions of pain or discord as evils that are eliminated by an understanding of God, divine Truth; therefore, I could regard them as nothing—as lies that can and should be unmasked, as Jesus taught.
