Severe back pain healed
I was in the middle of my training to be a Christian Science nurse. This was a time of study, prayer, and spiritual growth as I discovered more about God and myself, while also learning practical ways to care for those seeking healing in Christian Science. During my training, I was staying at a Christian Science nursing facility—a place where individuals can go to receive skilled non-medical nursing care in an atmosphere supportive of prayer and spiritual healing.
Early one morning, I woke up with severe pain in my lower back along with other uncomfortable symptoms. At first, it wasn’t too bad, and I tried to sleep it off, but the pain worsened.
Knowing from experience that I could rely on God for healing, I called a Christian Science practitioner. This is someone who helps others, through prayer, change their perspective from a false perception of reality as material to the understanding of reality as wholly spiritual. This shift brings healing.
