> Bee Holekamp, “My Christmas angel,” Sentinel, December 11, 2023
I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed this article. I read it with my three primary-school-aged boys. The night before, we’d read an illustrated book of the nativity, and they’d had lots of questions about the human-looking Gabriel with wings, so this was a great follow-up about what angels really are. We especially appreciated the article because the boys are eagerly waiting for our ski slopes to open here in the Pyrenees. They thought it was a very cool story.

> Brian Webster, “Practice proves perfect,” Sentinel, December 11, 2023
As someone who participates in athletic endeavors, I found Brian’s insights on where we get our energy and ability extremely helpful. Having recently struggled a bit trying to improve my technique and speed in the swimming pool, I can see how these spiritual insights can allow me to reject the idea that I have to humanly try harder and instead trust and know that all the ability and skill that I have or need comes from God. What a healing message!
