Jesus’ parable teaches that we should be as generous as possible with one another in practicing forbearance.
As we gain a clearer sense of what God, Spirit, is and what divine intelligence does, we’ll come to enjoy a more substantial sense of comfort, security, and freedom in the understanding of God as truly unconfined.

This gentle grace

A poem on divine grace and the gentle embrace of God.
I could hardly believe myself healed at the time, but after a few months it was clear that the healing was complete, and I have not had a drink since 1995.

Thank you, Jeremiah

We need to go directly and entirely to God and keep our thought on Him instead of beginning with a problem and then throwing truths at it like darts at a dartboard.

Prayer blooms

Prayer can feel like the unfoldment of a flower.
I heard these words from God: “You are not alone. I am right here with you. I will never leave you.”

Walking without pain

Last summer I enjoyed a backpacking trip with my daughter in the high country of Yosemite National Park with no hint of a hip problem.
Within five days of my entering the Christian Science nursing facility, the bleeding stopped, never to return.
I resolved to not exclaim, “I am hurt!” but to instead use the occasion to proclaim that I am the child of God, Spirit, and that I am therefore perfect and spiritual.

Spirit

That believers are the very dwelling of God—the visible sign of the presence of God in the community and on the street—is indisputable to Paul.
