Quick healing
For many decades before I became a student of Christian Science, I relied on medical treatment for health problems. During that time I was affiliated with another Christian denomination, which did not teach that God is Spirit and that man is totally spiritual as I’ve learned in Christian Science. This new understanding I’ve gained through Science has meant a great deal to me.
More than two years ago, I had an experience that was quite unsettling. I was reading a novel one evening when suddenly I was no longer able to read or make sense of the words.
I refused to become fearful and instead turned to God for the best help I could receive. At this point I had experienced healing many times by applying the truths I had learned through the study and practice of Christian Science. I turned to the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, for inspiration, opening the book to where my bookmark indicated I had left off.
